Welcome to the Riviersonderend Masjidul Nur Foundation website (“the Website”).
By accessing this Website or making a donation through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. About the Foundation

Riviersonderend Masjidul Nur Foundation (“the Foundation”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a non-profit organisation established to raise funds for the construction, maintenance and development of Masjidul Nur and related Islamic community facilities in Riviersonderend, Western Cape, South Africa.

2. Purpose of Donations

All donations received through this Website are voluntary charitable contributions (Sadaqah, Lillah, Sadaqah Jariyah or other Islamic charitable giving).

Foundation considers them to be most needed in furtherance of its charitable objectives.

Although every reasonable effort will be made to utilise donations for the campaign selected by the donor, the Foundation reserves the right to redirect donations where necessary to fulfil its charitable purposes.

3. Secure Online Payments

All online payments are processed securely through PayFast (Pty) Ltd, an independent South African payment service provider.
By making a donation you authorise PayFast to process your payment using your selected payment method.
The Foundation does not store your debit card, credit card or online banking credentials.
Your payment information is collected and processed by PayFast in accordance with their own Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

4. Accepted Payment Methods

Payments may be made using the payment methods supported by PayFast from time to time, including but not limited to:

• Visa
• Mastercard
• Instant EFT
• Apple Pay
• Samsung Pay
• Capitec Pay
• Other payment methods offered by PayFast.

Availability of payment methods may change without prior notice.

5. Donation Confirmation

Once payment has been successfully authorised, an electronic confirmation and payment receipt will be sent to the email address supplied by the donor where applicable.
The Foundation reserves the right to request additional information where required to verify a donation or comply with applicable legislation.

6. Refund Policy

As donations are voluntary charitable contributions, they are generally non-refundable.
However, refunds may be considered where:

• a duplicate payment has been made;
• an incorrect donation amount was processed due to a technical error;
• fraudulent use of a payment method is confirmed; or
• the Foundation determines that exceptional circumstances exist.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within fourteen (14) days of the donation and will be reviewed at the Foundation’s discretion.

Where approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

Bank or payment processing charges deducted by third-party providers may not be refundable.

7. Donor Information

Donors agree that the information provided is accurate and complete.
The Foundation may contact donors regarding:

• donation confirmations;
• fundraising campaigns;
• project progress updates;
• tax receipts where applicable.

Donors may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

8. Privacy

The Foundation respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with South African law.
Personal information is collected solely for the administration of donations, donor communications and legal compliance.
Personal information will never be sold to third parties.

9. Website Content

No material may be reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

While reasonable care is taken to ensure the Website functions correctly, the Foundation makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted availability.
The Foundation shall not be liable for any loss arising from:

• payment gateway outages;
